Korea Gold Awards honors winners

Actor Jung Woo-sung was given the Grand Prize at the 39th Korea Gold Awards Festival on Thursday evening in central Seoul for his role in “Innocent Witness.”

His co-star, Kim Hyang-gi, won the Best Actress award.

The Best Film award went to “The Spy Gone North,” while Joo Ji-hoon took home the Best Actor prize for his role in “Dark Figure of Crime.”

Cinematographers’ Choice Popularity Awards went to actors Ryu Jun-yeol for “Believer” and Song Ha-yoon for “Intimate Strangers.”

The annual event is organized by the Korean Society of Cinematographers, who determine the winners based on creativity, technicality and entertainment value.
