Jungin Myeonok is known for its Pyongyang-style naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles). The dish features three slices of beef, radish and an egg cradled in a nest of fresh, slippery noodles. Cucumbers swim in the icy broth and additional kimchi is served on the side.
To invigorate your taste buds, add a dollop of spicy mustard to the chilled broth for an extra punch.
The restaurant gets crowded during lunch, and staff members hurriedly push carts of food from the kitchen to tables in record speed.
