One out of five Japanese politicians is said to be from a reputable family of politics… When this is limited to Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party, this number becomes one out of three politicians.

The Japanese Foreign Minister who said “insolent” to Korean Ambassador to Japan is similar. His father was the man who carried out the Kono Statements in 1993, which apologized for the Japanese government and military’s involvement in gathering comfort women, but 26 years after the fact, he denied his father’s statements head on.

정치를 대물림하되 선대로부터의 DNA는 엉뚱한 방향으로 흘러가 버린… 권력의 상속자들이 모여 만들어내는, 극우 정치. 날 때부터 이른바 3반의 프리미엄을 손에 쥔 그들은 총리돌격대를 자처하면서 세를 불리고, 그것은 다시 퇴행의 역사를 반복하고 있으니… 평화가 아닌 전쟁할 수 있는 나라를 꿈꾸며 갈수록 우경화하고 있는 일본의 모습은 극우 정치인은 물론, 정치를 방관한 일본 시민의 무관심이 함께 만들어낸 두려운 미래일 것입니다.

They were born with the so-called three premium advantages and offered to become the prime minister’s vanguard and expanded their power, which creates another reiteration of history… As Japan dreams of waging a war instead of maintaining peace, the country that is becoming more conservative as time goes by was created by, of course, extreme-right politicians and the indifference of the Japanese people who sat idly by and watched their country’s politics unfold into a terrifying future.

After WWII ended, Japan’s active political power, in other words, war criminals, would shout ‘a total of one million repentances,’ which passed the responsibility for losing the war onto its entire people… As all people were in the wrong, in the end, the “ethical ceremony that no one takes responsibility for” was a success.
