Korean cars, German track

Test vehicles for Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors drive down the Nurburgring circuit in Nurburg, Germany on Friday as the automakers’ R&D and product development executives look on and inspect the performance. It is the first time for those executives to gather overseas to test cars made by the companies. Some 20 executives including Albert Biermaan, president of R&D, Luc Donckerwolke, executive vice president of design, as well as Thomas Schemera, executive vice president of product and strategy, attended the testing of the new vehicles at the Geman track. Six new models, including the Genesis G70, JX, RG3, the Veloster N, the i30 N Line and Kia’s SUV XCeed, were tested. [HYUNDAI MOTOR GROUP]
