Ongals to open show in November

Local comedy troupe Ongals will open up their own show in Daehangno from Nov. 21 at the Daehakro Arts Theater in central Seoul.

The septet - Cho Jun-woo, Choi Ki-seop, Cho Su-won and Chae Kyung-sun, Ha Bak and Lee Kyung-seop - uses only nonverbal means, such as juggling and beatboxing, to draw laughs from audiences since 2007.

For 12 years, the group has visited over 47 cities in 22 countries and captured the hearts of international audiences. Some of their significant works include receiving the Director’s Choice award at the 2014 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Best Comedy in the section of The Asian Arts Awards at the 2017 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The show will be held until Feb. 16. Tickets can be reserved through ticket reservation site Interpark or Hana Ticket.
