TVXQ’s Kim Jae-joong plans album

Singer Kim Jae-joong of boy band JYJ will be dropping a new album for the first time in four years and meet fans across Asia, his agency C-JeS Entertainment said Thursday.

“Kim Jae-joong finalized the date of his new album release in January next year,” the agency said.

“With that album, he will also be touring around Asia to make a grand comeback as a singer.”

Kim, a former member of boy band TVXQ, had recently been pursuing a career in acting rather than as a singer.

His last album came in 2016, when he released his second solo full-length “NO.X” before he began his two-year military duty.

“Kim Jae-joong decided to make his comeback in gratitude for the fans who have been waiting so long,” the agency said.

“He is making his last touches to make sure to give you the best music he can. This album will be like a gift for the listeners.”
