Medytox enters cosmetics market with “Neuraderm”

Medytox said Monday that it made its debut into the cosmetics market by offering its own cosmeceuticals brand “Neuraderm.”

The Korean biotech company hinted at entering the cosmetics market when it acquired Highway1, a global cosmetics retailer, last year. The cosmetics market was one that Medytox has eyed since developing botulinum toxin and filler products.

Neuraderm will be focused on developing skin care products based on Medytox’s self-developed peptides. Medytox said that its peptides have earned patents for skin whitening and wrinkle care in Korea and is listed in the International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredient.

Neuraderm is launching a skin solution named “Neuraderm M.BT_NMPs” that uses 57 ingredients.
