테스트

K-pop boy band BTS took home four awards at the Japan Gold Disc Awards on Thursday.

The major music awards show selected BTS for the Best Asian Artist trophy and awarded it with the Best Five Singles prize for its single “Lights/Boy With Luv,” Song of the Year by Download for its song “Lights” and Best Music Video for its “BTS World Tour ‘Love Yourself’ (Japan Edition).”

It was the second year in a row that BTS was awarded the Best Asian Artist and Best Music Video awards.

BTS’s most recently released album “Map of the Soul: 7” has also drawn attention in Japan as it topped the Oricon album chart and is expected to take the top spots on the Billboard 200, according to Billboard, and the British Official Albums Chart.

In addition to topping the charts, the second and official music video for the lead track of the album, “On,” was released today.

The video is a visual and symbolic interpretation of the lead single, according to Big Hit Entertainment, the agency of BTS.

Last Friday, BTS released the first music video, called “Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima,” which focused on the ferocious choreography of “On.”

It has recorded more than 90 million views on YouTube in less than one week since its release.

Also awarded at the Japan Gold Disc Awards were other K-pop acts, including girl groups Twice and IZ*ONE.

Twice took home the Best 3 Albums (Asia) award for its “&Twice” and “#Twice2” albums and the Best Album of the Year (Asia) award for “#Twice2.”

IZ*ONE took home the New Artist of the Year (Asia) and Best 3 New Artists (Asia) awards. The other winners of the Best 3 New Artists (Asia) award were K-pop boy band The Boyz and girl group (G)I-DLE.

Singer-songwriter Kim Jae-joong also took home Best 3 Albums (Asia).
