Daewoo Motors" First Vehicle of 2000 "Rezzo" Debuts
Daewoo Motors' first car of the new millenium, the 'Rezzo', debuted on the Korean auto market on January 4, 2000.'Rezzo', the first minivan developed by the Korean automaker, is available with a 2,000cc LPG engine and three versions of a 2,000cc gasoline engine.
The automaker explained that the company has developed the minivan to offer drivers convenience and coziness.
President Chung Joo-ho of Daewoo Motors said that his company aims to occupy 30 percent of the domestic minivan market with the sale of 78,000 units this year.
He added that the vehicle will make inroads into the overseas market, including western Europe, from July 2000.
The minivan's price, between 12.2 million won and 14.05 million won, is a little higher than Kia Motors' 'Karens' model, but lower than Hyundai Motor Company's 'Trajet' model.
