Variety show hosts get serious
Comedian No Hong-chul and trot singer Jang Yoon-jeong announced this week that they’re an item.Jang, the 29-year-old famous for songs like “Oh My Goodness” and “Twist,” released a statement on Monday that she and No have been dating. The 30-year-old No stars in the MBC-TV program “Muhan Dojeon (Infinite Challenge).”
The two met in 2005, when they sang the theme for MBC-TV’s “Happy Shares Company - Manwon Happiness.” They became friends a couple of years later when Jang appeared as a guest on MBC-TV’s “Come to Play,” where No was a regular. The couple began hosting SBS-TV’s variety show “Gold Miss is Coming” in October. They say they have no immediate plans to marry.
