This Chairman is ready to roll
The new vehicle is the company’s first release in 14 months and is the first luxury sedan in Korea to apply a four-wheel drive system, which is common in high-end vehicles in Europe.
It has an electronic air suspension system and a rebound coil that helps reduce noise and vibration, as well as an expanded rear passenger space. It will sell for between 52.1 million ($44,371) and 89.1 million won. The limousine version of the vehicle will sell for up to 129 million won.
“The 2010 Chairman W contains Ssangyong Motor’s employees’ desire for a revival,” said Park Young-tae, the court-appointed manager of the firm.
