Quarterback Cutler signs Bears’ extension

CHICAGO - Quarterback Jay Cutler signed a contract extension with Chicago on Tuesday in a deal that will keep him with the Bears through the 2013 National Football League season.

The two-year extension is a vote of confidence for the 26-year-old Cutler, who was acquired by Chicago from Denver in April. Cutler was the 11th overall selection of the 2006 NFL entry draft. AFP
