Lee Gi-kwang of the pop group Beast injured his ankle on Saturday but will still travel to Brazil for a concert slated for tomorrow, his agency said over the weekend.

Cube Entertainment said that Lee, who is currently appearing on MBC’s “I’m a Flower, Too,” strained a ligament in his ankle while playing football during a break in filming on the set.

“It’s not very difficult for him to walk, but he is wearing a cast for a fast recovery,” the agency said.

The agency said that despite the injury, Lee, who also appeared in the drama “My Princess” and season two of the sitcom “High Kick,” left for Sao Paulo, Brazil, yesterday to participate in the concert, which features stars of Cube Entertainment such as 4Minute and G.NA.

The agency said that although Lee will sing in the concert at the Espaco das Americas, it is not certain whether the 21-year-old will dance.

“United Cube” will be the first K-pop concert in South America, according to the agency.
