Teen Top’s second mini-album leaked online hours before its release

Boy band Teen Top’s second mini-album was leaked and distributed on illegal download sites just four hours before its official release.

The band’s agency TOP Media said on Dec. 5 that the new album “It’s” was leaked at 8 p.m. on Jan. 4, garnering 1,000 hits on shareware sites in just 10 minutes.

The album, produced by the hit maker Brave Brothers, was due to be released at midnight on Jan. 5.

“We are currently searching through various Web sites and blogs both from within Korea and outside the country in order to track down who made the original post,” a representative from TOP Media said.

In addition to the tracks that were leaked, the lyrics to the song “Crazy” with the pronunciations in Korean are currently circulating online for foreign fans who want to sing it.

The six-member boy band made its debut in 2010 with the five-track EP “Come into the World.” The band rose to fame with its hit song “No More Perfume on You” from its first mini-album “Roman,” which was released in July 2011.
