Hyun Bin the face of canned coffee

Hyun Bin has become the face of Cantata RTD, Lotte Chilsung’s range of instant coffee in bottles.
The company said that it had its eyes on Hyun for some time.

“He rose to the top of his game through ‘Secret Garden,’ then he went and signed up with the Marine Corps. That just fuelled his popularity,” said a spokesperson from the brand.

To get into Hyun’s good graces, Lotte attended the discharge ceremony of the Hallyu actor back in December and handed out free coffee to those present.

With the Hallyu star on board, the company said it can’t wait to take the No. 1 spot in the ready- to-drink instant coffee market.
