SHINee releases two ballads

Boy group SHINee has released two new songs yesterday written by its member Jonghyun to local music providers.
The songs are part of the group’s third album, which was previously released in two different parts. “Selene 6.23” and “Better Off” are included to complete the release of the third album yesterday.
Both songs are ballads, but the second one has a little bit more rhythm than the first one.
“Selene 6.23” has a piano performance along with an orchestral sound in the background to express the ache one experiences when his love is not reciprocated by the girl he cares for. “Better Off” tries to transform the sadness one feels after a breakup into a beautiful memory.
The group, who met fans in Taiwan on Sunday, will have a performance in Japan on Aug. 17.
