Yoo Se-yoon releases EP

Comedian and singer Yoo Se-yoon will release his second solo EP today, titled “Kkattalk.”

The unusual song title sounds very similar to the most popular messaging service in Korea, KakaoTalk, often called “Katalk” for short. Unsurprisingly, the song is about a man who has a girlfriend who doesn’t pay attention to him because she is always talking to her girlfriends on KakaoTalk.

The song is reportedly a ballad with hip-hop and acoustic elements, making it rather different from the bouncy dance music Yoo used to sing as a member of the pop duo UV.

Local media reports say that Yoo is releasing a solo EP so that he can stay in the public eye without having to mention the name of his group.
