Jung rejects 'Dad, Where Are You Going' offer

Actor Jung Woong-in of SBS drama "I Hear Your Voice" and ongoing MBC drama "Empress Ki" has decided not to take part in the second season of popular family entertainment show "Dad, Where Are You Going" on broadcast channel MBC.

He was offered the opportunity to be a regular member of the show in its newest season, along with his six-year-old daughter Se-yoon, but an official at Jung's agency told local media that the actor declined the offer.

It is said that the actor made the decision due to the filming arrangements of his ongoing drama.

Jung has previously said in many interviews that he wants to focus on acting rather than going on entertainment programs, and he also said that he is against family entertainment because putting his loved ones on TV exposed them to the public.

The final filming schedule for the first season of "Dad, Where Are You Going" was completed on Jeju Island earlier this month, and the new season is set to start in February.
