Lovelyz member plagued by rumors

Even before the debut of Lovelyz, Seo Ji-su, a member of the brand-new eight-member girl group, is having troubles with malicious rumors surfacing on the web.

In response to the rumors, Seo’s entertainment company has decided to debut the girl group without her, stating that she is in need of “medical treatment to bring her psychological stability back.”

The rumors stated that Seo was in a same-sex relationship before her debut and that she released nude photos without her ex-lover’s consent. The alleged partner had to quit work as a result, according to the rumors.

In a statement that was released yesterday, Woolim Entertainment, which is home to K-pop boy band Infinite, said, “We will find out who spread the malicious rumors by working closely with the police, and Seo will debut later after she gains stability.”

The girl group performed a showcase yesterday.
