New hosts announced for ‘Music Bank’

테스트

Singer Kang Min-hyuk from K-pop boy group CNBlue and Solbin from girl group Laboum have been confirmed to be the new hosts for the KBS2 music program “Music Bank.”

The two will be replacing actor Park Bo-gum and singer Irene of K-pop girl group Red Velvet, who have been hosting the music show for a year and two months.

“I feel like many people wish to take on the role because it seems to be a gateway to reaching stardom,” Kang said.

“I will do my best to become the new mascot for ‘Music Bank,’” Solbin said.

The pair will appear as the new hosts starting Friday.

Since debuting as a member of CNBlue in 2010, Kang has also forayed into acting, appearing in popular dramas like “Entertainer” (2016) and “The Heirs” (2013).

Solbin debuted in 2014 with Laboum’s single “Petit Macaron.” Since then, she has released numerous tracks as a member of the group, including “Fresh Adventure” and “Sugar Sugar.”
