Wonder Girls go live ahead of new single

K-pop group Wonder Girls will stage performances for their new single “Why So Lonely” through Naver’s live-streaming service V beginning at 11:30 p.m. today.

The performances come 30 minutes before the tracks are officially launched at midnight on Tuesday.

The latest single consists of three songs: “Sweet&Easy,” “To the Beautiful You” and the title track “Why So Lonely.”

The title song was written by group members Sunmi and Hyerim with the help of songwriter Hong Ji-sang, and was also composed by Sunmi and Hyerim along with third Wonder Girl Yubin. It has gotten a lot of attention from fans before its release for being the first song by the group to show reggae influences.

Members of the group also took part in writing and composing the other two songs on the single.
