Nana making big screen debut in “Kkun”

테스트

Singer-turned-actress Nana of the girl group After School will make her big screen debut in upcoming film “Kkun.”

The singer will star alongside award-winning actor Hyun-bin as well as “Oldboy” (2003) star Yoo Ji-tae. She is expected to join the cast on set on Monday.

The film is about a con artist that only targets other swindlers who meets an elite prosecutor with the goal of catching a criminal mastermind. Nana will play the role of the assistant to the con artist (played by Hyun-bin).

The actress made her acting debut in the tvN legal drama “The Good Wife” in July, which was a remake of a US television series of the same name. The star received positive reviews for the portrayal of her role as an investigator of a law firm. Her role in the upcoming film will be her second time working alongside Yoo, who also starred in the drama.

As a singer, she originally debuted as a new addition to the girl group in 2009. Her first official appearance with the group came with their single “Because of You,” released later that year. Their last single “First Love” was released in 2013, and its members have been pursuing solo activities ever since.
