Fraser Place Central and NamdaemunFrom July 1 to Aug. 31: Fraser Place Central and Namdaemun will not only continue last year’s all-time summer favorite snack, chicken and beer, but also include another ultimate favorite, pizza and beer, in its “Summer Happy Hour Package” snack option for guests. The Summer Happy Hour Package includes: a chicken and beer set (chicken, sausages and two bottles of beer) or a pizza and beer set (one margherita pizza and two bottles of beer), a hotel premier beach ball and a breakfast buffet for two at First Floor Restaurant.
Fraser Place Central is known for its spacious rooms that include a kitchen and all guests have access to the indoor swimming pool. Also, three bedroom apartments are now available during its summer season to accommodate guests traveling with friends and family.
Guests staying at Fraser Place Namdaemun with the Summer Happy Hour Package will have access to Fraser Place Central’s indoor swimming pool with a complimentary hotel shuttle bus service for convenience.
The Summer Happy Hour Package starts from 172,000 won ($156) for Central and 167,000 won for Namdaemun.

From June 20 to 26: Il Ponte, Millennium Seoul Hilton’s popular Italian trattoria, in cooperation with the Italian embassy and Air Italia, will host a special event featuring world champion acrobatic pizza maker, Pasqualino Barbasso.
Barbasso’s mission in life is to not only make high quality pizza but to do it in a highly entertaining manner as well! He has traveled all over the globe showing off his stunning acrobatic performances - all while spinning large pizza pies in the air.
Barbasso grew up working in his family’s pizzeria, Il Falco Azzuro, in Cammarata, Italy. He also underwent formal pizza-making training. He has competed in and won several acrobatic pizza championships and was crowned World Champion in 2001 and 2002. Videos of the chef making pizza can be found on YouTube.
Be amazed by his acrobatic skills while you are delighted by Il Ponte’s culinary skills.

To Aug. 31: Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel’s Lobby Lounge.Bar is presenting a new summer concept afternoon tea set. With Lobby Lounge.Bar’s signature afternoon tea set, guests can enjoy mini seasonal desserts and light snacks presented in a unique tiered tray which represents the hotel while overlooking the scenic views of the city. During the summer season, the “Sweet Summer Afternoon Tea Set” offers eight different kinds of desserts, two kinds of snacks and a refreshing punch cocktail to make your summer afternoon more delightful. The tea set menus include roche blanche, cafe mocha tart, passion cream marshmallow roll cake, entremet au carotte (carrot cake), cranberry scone with homemade jam, salmon sushi, mini corn dog and more. Also, a choice of coffee, tea or punch cocktail is also provided along with the tea set. The Sweet Summer Afternoon Tea Set is priced at 22,000 won, including tax, and it can be ordered from 2 to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday.

To Aug. 31: Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas, in Samsung-dong, Seoul, launches its special promotion for iced tea with American tea brand, Steven Smith Teamaker, offering a “cool” way of enjoying iced tea in summer. Until the end of August, Grand Deli, on the first floor, is selling “Tea on Tap”, an iced tea tapped like beer, and Lobby Lounge is promoting a range of sparkling tea cordials made with organic tea concentrate by Steven Smith Teamaker.
Grand Deli’s Tea on Tap, which is a kind of “drafted” tea, offers aged iced tea from tabs just like beer. Customers can enjoy two flavors: Nitro Chai Latte and Strawberry Honey Bush Sparkling Iced Tea. Nitro Chai Latte boasts amazingly soft bubbles, since it is made by infusing nitrogen into milk tea, which is produced in small quantities every day, and fermenting the mixture for 48 hours. Honey Bush Sparkling Iced Tea is a non-caffeinated fizzy beverage made with fruits and rooibos tea, a kind of herbal tea. The beverage is aged for 48 hours so customers can enjoy its milder fizziness. The prices are 8,000 won for a Nitro Chai Latte, and 7,000 won for the Strawberry Honey Bush Sparkling Iced Tea (tax included).
Lobby Lounge’s sparkling teas are made of a concentrate of natural ingredients, with no chemical additives, matured with oligosaccharide. The teas are offered in three flavors: Rooibos and Carrot Cordial, Herb Cordial with hibiscus tea and cherries and Lemon Lime Cordial with peppermint tea. The price is 19,000 won per glass, including tax.

To Sept. 10: Conrad Seoul’s casual Cafe 10G, located in the hotel lobby, presents special seasonal drinks, new for this summer. The Green Tea Ice Bar Latte adds a tasty green tea flavor spin on Cafe 10G’s original Ice Bar Latte, and the Rubber Duck Iced Tea comes decorated with a cute rubber duck on top.
Cafe 10G is also bringing back its signature summer drink, the Ice Bar Latte, renowned for its homemade ice bar melting into the ice latte. Growing in popularity every summer since its launch, one should sit back, relax and watch as the ice bar, made of double espresso and condensed milk, melts into the Ice Bar Latte, boasting a richer flavor as it melts.
Additionally this year, Cafe 10G launches the Green Tea Ice Bar Latte, which is infused with a clean taste of green tea. For a lighter flavor, choose the Rubber Duck Iced Tea served with a cute rubber duck on top. It is the perfect way to quench your summer thirst and top-up on vitamins as the rubber duck-shaped sorbet is made of frozen berry tea from the prestigious Ronnefeldt tea selection.
This sweet, citrus iced tea is mixed with tasty and nutritious yuja (citrus junos) and grapefruit juices. Both new drinks have no caffeine so children can also enjoy these summer signature selections.
10G’s Summer Drinks are available at Cafe 10G, located in the lobby, for the summer season only. Each drink is priced at 6,600 won.
