Leeteuk, Lee Sung-kyung to MC award show

The 2018 Asia Artist Awards planning committee announced that singer Leeteuk and actor Lee Sung-kyung will be the MCs for the upcoming 2018 Asia Artist Awards.

The awards ceremony, which celebrates the year’s biggest K-pop artists and actors, will be teaming up with Kstar Group this year. Nominees for the award are chosen based on data collected over the past year.

The 2018 Asia Artist Awards will take place on Nov. 28 at the Namdong Gymnasium in Incheon. This year will mark Leeteuk’s third year as MC for the event. This time, he will be teaming up with actor Kim Sung-kyung who recently finished filming “About Time,” a drama that aired on tvN.

The 2018 Asia Artist Awards planning committee announced that they will be implementing the use of “Face Ticket” services, which replaces tickets with facial recognition software. This collaboration with Kstar Group, a company that provides blockchain technology for the entertainment industry.
