[EXPORT-IMPORT BANK OF KOREA]

On Sept. 18, volunteers from the Export-Import Bank of Korea fed 300 homeless people in the area around Seoul Station in central Seoul.

Some 40 volunteers helped out at an outreach center near the station, providing food and helping wash dishes and clean the facility. EXIM held the event ahead of the Chuseok harvest festival next week, ensuring that the homeless people were able to enjoy a good meal during the holiday season.

“We hope that our neighbors in need will not be left alone during the holiday season,” said EXIM President Eun Sung-soo. “We will continue to carry out various activities so that vulnerable groups such as the homeless will be able to get back on their feet.”

EXIM has been sponsoring the outreach center since 2012.
