Roy Kim schedules Korea concerts

Singer-songwriter Roy Kim will hold a series of concerts across the country in December.

Kim’s agency, Stone Music Entertainment, announced Friday that the “2018 Roy Kim Live Tour” will kick off in Seoul on Dec. 15-16, play Busan on Dec. 22 and Daegu on Dec. 31.

Tickets for the Seoul concerts will go on sale starting Oct. 18 at 8 p.m. through Interpark’s website. Last year, all tickets were sold out within minutes for his Christmas concert series.

Kim first gained recognition after finishing first place on Mnet’s artists audition program, “Superstar K4” in 2012. After debuting in 2013 with his first studio album “Love Love Love,” Kim topped the music charts several times with songs like “Bom Bom Bom” (2013) and recently “Only Then” (2018).

The 25-year-old singer is currently studying at Georgetown University, majoring in sociology. During an interview with Herald Pop in September, he said he would pursue a graduate program in the United States.
