Seo In-young to return with album

Singer Seo In-young will be dropping a new album at the end of the month.

Her agency Soribada announced on Wednesday that Seo’s album will be released on Oct. 31 and will be available on various music streaming sites. Her previous full-length album was released three years ago, although she had released a single “Close Your Eyes” in August.

For the upcoming album, Seo has teamed up with famed songwriter Kim Eana, who is behind hit songs including “Abracadabra” by girl group Brown Eyed Girls and “Good Day” by singer IU.

Seo debuted in 2002 as a member of the girl group Jewelry. She rose to fame as a solo artist in 2008, releasing hit songs like “Cinderella” and “Too Much.” In January 2017, Seo found herself at the center of controversy after she was caught screaming at a member of the crew while she was filming an episode of JTBC’s reality program “Late Marriage.” She officially apologized through her agency soon after the news, and had been laying low until she returned with a new song in August.
