Anime, game fans get their own festival
Anime X Game Festival 2018 (AGF2018), Korea’s first crossover anime and game festival, will kick off at Kintex in Goyang, Gyeonggi, on Saturday.Co-hosted by the local animation channel Aniplus and Sony Music Entertainment, Japanese voice actors as well as singers are scheduled to appear at the event to greet fans.
Japanese broadcasting company TV Tokyo and publishing house Kadokawa as well as Korean gaming company Netmarble and an animation production company Daewon Media will offer goods for fans looking for more from their favorite shows and games.
The festival will mostly revolve around Japanese content, according to festival organizers. However, they plan to include more local content next year.
