Kim Dong-ryul to drop song Friday

Singer-songwriter Kim Dong-ryul will be releasing a new song featuring IU on Friday evening, his agency Musicfarm announced on Wednesday.

According to the agency, his new single “Fairytale” will be a calming harmony of Kim and IU’s vocals over beautiful orchestral sounds that give off a winter fairytale vibe.

The song comes as an extension of Kim’s album “Reply” that he released in January, and is the third single from the album this year.

A 45-second long teaser video was released on Wednesday, featuring a short animated film that looks like illustrations from a child’s fairytale book.

Along with “Fairytale,” Kim will be holding an end of the year concert series from Friday through Sunday at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in southern Seoul.
