MelodyDay will split up

Girl group MelodyDay will part ways, the members announced on Wednesday through their Instagram accounts.

On Wednesday, member Yeo-eun posted a picture of a hand-written letter on Instagram saying, “It will be difficult [for us] to meet with you as MelodyDay.”

“It wasn’t an easy decision to make, since we had spent so much time together. But we came to this conclusion wishing the best for each other,” wrote Yeo-eun.

Member Yoo-min followed, saying that they have decided to go their separate ways after their contract ends with Cre.Ker Entertainment in December.

“We thank the fans so much for the unchanging love and support they have shown us for the last four years. We hope to come back with a new side of us,” wrote Yoo-min.

The four-member group made their debut in 2014 with “Another Parting” and flaunted their vocal talents mostly through songs for TV dramas.
