Lee Seok-hoon signs with C9 Ent.

Singer Lee Seok-hoon from ballad group SG Wannabe is joining the agency C9 Entertainment, which also represents singers YounHa, Jung Joon-young, Cheetah and Juniel.

The agency announced Wednesday that the singer had recently signed an exclusive contract.

“We are very happy to work with Lee,” it said. “We will provide him with unconditional support to pursue his career. He will continue working with his group SG Wannabe, and at the same time, he will be promoting himself as a solo artist.”

Lee joined the group in 2008 after one of the members of the group passed away. The three members - renowned for their melodic voices - are behind hit songs such “Lalala” (2011), “Crime and Punishment” (2011) and “Love You” (2015).
