Shinhwa’s Eric joins TOP Media

Singer Eric from boy band Shinhwa has signed an exclusive contract with entertainment agency TOP Media, home to K-pop artists like Teen Top, Up10tion and bandmate Andy from Shinhwa.

“We have decided to [take charge of] Eric’s solo career after long discussions,” the agency announced on Wednesday. “We will give him unconditional support.”

It also added, “We will prepare [events] so that fans can communicate [with the artist] in various ways.”

Eric debuted with Shinhwa in 1998, but has also been well-known as a solo artist ever since he appeared on the MBC series “Phoenix” in 2004.

He also acts, starring in popular dramas like KBS2’s “Discovery of Love” (2014) and tvN’s “Another Miss Oh” (2016).
