3) This was the first time North Korean media have broadcasted Kim’s schedule before he has arrived at his destination, in this case China.
4) It is rare for North Korean media to report the movement of their leader so promptly, especially when he is traveling out of the country. Usually coverage only starts after the leader returns safely to North Korea.
5) Kim’s wife, Ri Sol-ju, accompanied him on this trip.
6) This was Chairman Kim’s fourth visit to China. His last visit to China was in March last year.
