Kim Yeon-ji to release new song

Singer Kim Yeon-ji, once a member of disbanded girl group SeeYa, is set to return with a new song. Her agency Most Works announced Friday that Kim’s new song “After Enduring for 10 Years” (translation) will be released on various music streaming sites on March 8 at 6 p.m. The ballad song portrays the sad feelings of a lover going through a break-up.

The song comes 11 months after her latest single “Song of Rain” last May.

Kim made her debut in 2006 with the trio SeeYa in 2006. The group immediately became popular with their hits “Love Greeting” (2007), “Sad Steps” (2007) and “Hot Girl” (2008).

After the group disbanded in 2011, Kim had been pursuing a solo career, working on soundtracks for popular dramas, including OCN’s “Voice 2” and tvN’s “Lawless Lawyer” in 2018.
