AKB48 member joins local agency
After Takahashi Juri, a member of the Japanese girl group AKB48, joined Korea’s Woollim Entertainment earlier this week, another AKB48 member - Takeuchi Miyu - has signed a contract with a Korean company.On Friday, Mystic Entertainment announced that it recently signed an exclusive contract with Takeuchi, who, according to the agency, “proved not only her vocal talents but also the ability to write and arrange songs.”
“We will be giving her all the support she needs so that she can create good synergy with Mystic,” said the agency.
Takeuchi made her debut in Japan in 2009 as a member of AKB48 and was recently featured on the third season of cable channel Mnet’s audition program “Produce 48.”
