Kang’s agency postpones hearing

LM Entertainment requested the court postpone the hearing for the injunction of their exclusive contract with singer Kang Daniel, local news outlet YTN reported on Thursday.

According to the report, LM Entertainment requested that the hearing, which was initially set for today 2 p.m., be postponed and transferred to a different jurisdiction.

Kang and LM Entertainment were scheduled to meet at the court after Kang told the court that his exclusive contract with the agency was invalid and should be nulled.

The singer argued that the agency had sold management rights and content production rights to a third party without his awareness or consent, while the agency claimed that the contract carried no such stipulation, and that they had fully notified the singer of what the business contract between LM Entertainment and the third party was about.

A new date for the hearing has not been set.
