Patriotic petals for the people
Singer Kim Jang-hoon and Seo Kyoung-duk, a professor at Sungshin Women’s University, give out Ulleungdo stonecrop flowers, also known as Sedum takesimense Nakai, to passersby near Myeongdong Theatre in Jung District, central Seoul, on Friday. The two decided to give out the plants to celebrate National Arbor Day and promote the islets of Dokdo, where the flowers grow. [YONHAP]
