Taeyeon kicks off solo tour in Japan

Singer Taeyeon, part of girl group Girls’ Generation, started her first solo concert tour “Taeyeon Japan Tour 2019 ~Signal~” on April 13 in Fukuoka, Japan.

According to her agency SM Entertainment, the fans at the concert were “mesmerized by the artist’s wonderful voice and performance.”

All six of her scheduled concerts sold out, and an additional concert is planned to be held in Tokyo.

On the stage, Taeyeon performed 21 of her songs, including her latest hits “Four Seasons,” “Something New,” “Rain,” as well as her original Japanese songs “Stay” and “I’m The Greatest.”

The artist sung songs from her upcoming Japanese EP album “Voice” for the first time at the concert. The album, which is to be released on June 5, contains six songs including the title track “Voice” and others such as “Horizon” and “Signal.”
