Taeyeon’s EP tracks released early

Singer Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation will release tracks off her first Japanese EP on Monday, prior to the release of the physical album, SM Entertainment said on Friday.

Taeyeon’s first EP “Voice” will go on sale on June 4 in Japan, but the music from the album will be available on May 13 through online music streaming services according to the agency.

The six-track EP will feature the title track “Voice,” as well as five other songs of various genres that all show different shades of the singer.

Taeyeon is currently in Fukuoka on her first Japanese concert tour, which began on April 13.

SHINee turns 11 and celebrates

May 25 marks the 11th anniversary of the debut of boy band SHINee, and the group will celebrate the memorable day with a special exhibition at SM Entertainment’s Celebrity Center in Apgujeong-dong, southern Seoul, the agency announced on Friday.

The “SHINee Day” exhibition will be held at the agency’s exhibit space from May 23 to June 2 for 11 days, featuring photographs, videos and real costumes that the members wore in past performances.

The exhibit will be free for members of the official fan club SHINee World, and reservations will be available through ticket seller Yes24’s website from Monday.

SHINee made its debut in 2008 with “Replay,” and became one of the most popular boy bands with hit songs such as “Ring Ding Dong”(2009) “Lucifer”(2010), “Sherlock (Clue + Note)” (2012) and many more.
