[NOODLE] In city’s center, a hearty bowl of bibim memil

After five decades, this noodle stalwart in the shadow of Deoksu Palace is still serving hearty and original takes on udon and soba. Its piece de resistance is the bibim memil: cold buckwheat noodles in a sauce that is sweet, spicy and graced with a truffle-like muskiness. It’s served with a side of hearty beef stock and thick slices of sweet pickled radish.
