Samsung, LG are India’s 6th and 7th most trusted brands

Korea’s two electronics giants - Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics - made it into India’s 10 most trusted brands report, released by TRA Research, an Indian brand analytics company.

Samsung ranked sixth for its mobile phones while LG followed in at seventh for its televisions.

Samsung was beaten by Dell, Jeep, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Amazon and Apple.

Other companies that made it into the top 10 include the UK-based Aviva Life Insurance and the State Bank of India.

By sector, Samsung topped the mobile phone and diversified consumer electronics categories and came in second for tablets and washing machines. LG took the top spot for televisions and washing machines and came in second in the air conditioner and refrigerator categories.

More than 2,000 participants took part in the survey conducted by TRA Research across 16 cities.
