Kwon Ji-an invited to Paris art fest

Artist Kwon Ji-an, also known as singer Solbi, will be taking part in the 2019 La Nuit Blanche, an art event in Paris, in October, her agency sidusHQ said on Tuesday.

According to the agency, Kwon received an invitation from organizers on Monday, finalizing her visit to the art festivity to take place on Oct. 5.

La Nuit Blanche is a one-day art festivity in Paris that is has been held every first weekend of October since 2002, in which the whole capital city turns into a massive art fair to greet art lovers from all over the world.

Korean artist such as Kim Soo-ja and Choi Jeong-hwa have been a part of the event in the past.

Kwon is set to put on three live performances at Paris on Oct. 5, and will exhibit the resulting canvas art in Paris afterwards.

“Kwon Ji-an will be putting on a performance above a 10-meter canvas, in which all onlookers can participate,” the agency said.

Kwon recently held an exhibition at the Insa Art Center, central Seoul, titled “Hyperism: Violet.” The exhibition saw a total of 10,000 visitors over its 10-day run in June.
