Song Hye-kyo reports online trolls

Actor Song Hye-kyo has reported internet trolls who have bad-mouthed or spread rumors about her recent divorce, her agency UAA said on Thursday.

Song, who recently broke up with actor Song Joong-ki, filed an official report to the Bundang Police Agency and will continue to do so against any other online trolls.

“We have collected evidence against a number of people who went over the line to criticize Song Hye-kyo and spread false lies about her,” the agency said.

“We will be making reports with any other posts or comments on internet communities or YouTube.”

The agency has appointed an attorney at law firm Kim & Chang and “will not be making any comprises.”

“Song Hye-kyo has been suffering from groundless rumors and an unimaginable level of insult, which have crossed the socially acceptable line,” the agency said.

“We will be taking a firm stance against those who make use of their anonymity.”

Song Hye-kyo and Song Joong-ki officially got divorced on July 22, a year and nine months after their marriage in 2017.
