BTS tops Billboard chart for 2 years

테스트

BTS has officially topped Billboard’s Social 50 chart for two years straight, the group’s agency Big Hit Entertainment announced on Wednesday.

The septet was No. 1 on this week’s chart released Tuesday, marking the 107th consecutive week in the position.

Their winning streak started on July 29, 2017, when they ended Justin Bieber’s 56-week run atop the Billboard Social 50 chart. The group surpassed Bieber’s run in August 2018.

Billboard’s Social 50 chart began in December 2010 and tracks artists’ power online, based on social media interactions, mentions by fans, follower numbers and more.

BTS’s latest EP “Map of the Soul: Persona” currently sits at No. 77 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, their 15th week on the chart. The EP also sits at No. 11 on the Top Album Sales chart, No. 5 on the Independent Album chart and No. 2 on the World Album chart.
