Kisum, Vinxen to drop new music

Hip-hop fans will be delighted to hear that rappers Kisum and Vinxen are preparing to release new music this month, according to both of their agencies on Wednesday.

“Kisum will be releasing music for the first time in two years and four months with her fourth EP ‘yeah!sool,’ which will be released on Aug. 20,” said her agency Mapps Entertainment.

The rapper’s last EP, “The Sun, The Moon” came out in 2017, but soon after its release, she took time off to treat injuries to her vocal chords.

“Kisum has prepared so much for the new album, including learning choreography, which she hasn’t done in the past,” her agency said.

Meanwhile, Vinxen will be releasing his new EP “Skin” on Sunday, eight months after the release of his collaboration album with producer Boycold titled “Boycold 2.”

The EP will include two tracks, “Skin” and “Parachute,” which were popular among fans when he uploaded them on his Soundcloud mixtape titled “Manta Bipolar.”

The rapper will be performing his new songs live for the first time at his “Aquarium Vol.3” concert, which will be held at the Blue Square iMarket Hall in Hannam-dong, central Seoul on Aug. 15.
