Once famous for its shoe factories, Seongsu-dong is gentrifying and is already called the Brooklyn of Seoul. Mealbon fits right in, with homemade dumplings and noodles served in chic stoneware. The go-to dish is a chewy, udon-thick kalguksu topped with shredded beef - in one of the beefiest soups in the entire country.
