Lee Seung-chul announces a tour

Singer Lee Seung-chul will kick off his “The Live” national tour in October, ticket seller Interpark revealed on Monday.

According to Interpark, Lee’s tour will start off with a concert in Ilsan, Gyeonggi, on Oct. 5.

He will then make his way to Cheonan (Gyeonggi), Jeonju (South Jeolla), Uijeongbu (Gyeonggi), Incheon, Seongnam (Gyeonggi), Andong (North Gyeongsang), Cheongju (North Chungcheong), Gwangju, Seoul, Busan and Daegu.

There will be two concerts in Seoul, on Dec. 21 and 22.

The tour - Lee’s first in two years - will be the singer’s return to music after having surgery on his vocal nodules last October.

Lee recently revealed details about his surgery during a television appearance and shared that he had a difficult time recovering from the procedure.

“This will be a chance for people to see Lee Seung-chul’s talents on stage, as someone who has performed over two thousand times since his debut,” Interpark said.

Tickets will go on sale starting Aug. 30 at 1 p.m. on Interpark’s website.

A portion of the ticket sales will go to building a school in Chad that Lee has been working on for years.
