Seo Jang-hoon donates to school

Basketball star-turned-entertainer Seo Jang-hoon donated 150 million won ($125,909) to his alma mater Yonsei University to help support low-income students, according to his agency Mystic Story on Tuesday.

Seo is said to have recently filmed an advertisement for Yonsei Milk Corporation. He donated his fee to the university.

Seo donated to the school when he retired from basketball in 2013. He donated a total of 200 million won, asking for the money to be used to support poor students. Half of that money represented his final income as a professional basketball player.

After Seo retired from basketball, he appeared on variety shows and became best known through “Knowing Bros” on JTBC. He is currently featured as one of the main entertainers in “My Ugly Duckling” and “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny” on SBS.
