Fin.K.L back after 14-year absence

Veteran girl group Fin.K.L will be releasing a new track for the first time in 14 years after pursuing their own career paths, the group’s agency Fe Entertainment said on Friday.

According to the agency, Fin.K.L will release their single “Like the Remaining Songs” on Sunday at 6 p.m.

“This is a song that the members of Fin.K.L have prepared for the fans who have waited for them and to celebrate the 21st year since their debut,” the agency said.

Singer Kim Hyun-chul took the helm in writing the song, which will thank the fans and express their wish that everyone will cherish the memories they had together.

Fin.K.L debuted in 1998 and had been dubbed as Korea’s top girl group for seven years until their last album.

The group recently came back together through a JTBC entertainment show, “Camping Club,” where all the four members - Lee Hyori, Oak Joo-hyun, Sung Yu-ri and Lee Jin - were featured camping together and looking back on their memories.

The show began on July 14 and runs every Sunday 9 p.m.
