Celltrion is rolling out an HIV treatment in the U.S.
Celltrion said Tuesday that it is introducing Temixys, an HIV treatment, in the coming weeks to the United States. It is the first branded product from the company.The Korean biopharmaceutical company’s U.S. affiliate will be tasked with distributing and promoting market access for the treatment. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the drug in November last year.
Celltrion USA held its first seminar for HIV physicians in New York last month to promote the drug and educate treatment guidelines. It is launching a Temixys-dedicated mobile application with information on the medicine for HIV-positive patients and medical professionals.
